Jose James may have come up through the jazz world, but he's set out to defie any genre or label ever since. His newest, Love In A Time of Madness, finds the artist giving his own reading of r&b, though you'll hear flourishes of just about everything throughout. He spoke wiht Kyle Meredith recently about the LP, being a child of immigrants, and acting in 50 Shades Darker.
