Bridger & Ivy: The Paws Report, May 31

Today on The Paws Report at 3:30:

Meet Bridger and Ivy, a bonded pair of wirehaired Dachshunds. These beautiful, well-mannered pups are a joy to be with. They came to the Kentucky Humane Society for adoption after their owner passed away. Bridger, the male, is just a bit larger than Ivy, a female. We estimate them both to be about 10 years old. They are very sweet and easy going and seem to have gentle souls. If you wish to meet these two mellow mates, please visit them at the Kentucky Humane Society’s Main Campus, 241 Steedly Drive in Louisville. We don’t think you’ll be disappointed! Bridger and Ivy are spayed/neutered, micro-chipped and up-to-date on vaccinations. View all our adoptable pets at www.kyhumane.org or call 502-366-3355 for more information.

KHS also has a number of bonded pairs right now, including Butters and Abby, two cats who came in together; and Watson and Baby Bear, two Chihuahua mixes who came in separately and who were both very shut down at the shelter and scared – until they met each other and became the best of friends. They now do everything together, and our staff celebrated their bond by uniting them in “marriage” last week. We will require that they be adopted together, as they both do better with their friend.
