Ajax: The Paws Report, April 26

Today on The Paws Report at 3:30:

Meet Ajax, a super affectionate eight-month-old tuxedo cat who is looking for his forever home. His previous owner describes Ajax as a very friendly, outgoing, affectionate, athletic and playful cat. This kitty has a real zest for life: want to play hide and seek or pounce? Ajax is game! How about playing with a feather fishing pole or a toy mouse? Nothing would make Ajax happier than interacting with you! In his previous home, Ajax lived with children and teens, and he was friendly and outgoing with new people. Ajax also appears to like other cats too, and in his former home he lived with another cat; the two spent time grooming each other and playing together. All in all, Ajax is one fun cat! He is also neutered, micro-chipped and up-to-date on vaccinations. Meet Ajax at the Kentucky Humane Society’s Main Campus, 241 Steedly Drive, Louisville Ky 40214. Visit www.kyhumane.org to view all adoptable animals or call 502-366-3355 for more information.

KHS is waiving adoption fees on cats ages 1 year and older April 27-30. They’ve taken in a LOT of cats from other shelters in the last week, which is wonderful news for these animals, as often in rural shelters there are NO adopters for adult cats. We’re excited to find these cats great homes!

Also, the first “Dog Day at the Park” of the season is next Tuesday, May 3: dogs and their people are invited to attend a Louisville Bats game at Slugger Field. 100% of the price of admission for each dog is a donation to KHS. Here is more info.
