Dude: The Paws Report, April12

Today on The Paws Report at 3:30:
Looking for a cat who’s overcome tremendous odds? Meet Dude! One-year-old Dude is a gorgeous, orange tabby who came to the Kentucky Humane Society when a kind man found him roaming the streets with an injured leg. We discovered his right front leg had a dislocated Radial/Carpal joint that left him unable to use it and that would require amputation. After spending a few weeks in a foster home healing, Dude is better than ever and ready to find his forever home! Despite having only three legs, there’s no challenge Dude cannot overcome. He’s a young, playful cat who loves running and chasing after his many toys here at the shelter. After he’s done playing, Dude is a big cuddle bug who wants to crawl on your lap to take a long afternoon nap. He’s an affectionate cat and will even let you cradle him like a baby! Do you have enough love and time for this beautiful boy? Dude is neutered, micro-chipped and up-to-date on all vaccinations. Come visit Dude today at the Kentucky Humane Society's Main Campus, 241 Steedly Drive in Louisville. Learn about all our adoptable pets at www.kyhumane.org or call 502-366-3355.

KHS is also having an adoption promotion on cats one year and older called Cat-a-palooza. From now until April 15, cats one year and older have no adoption fee! Also, Singer/songwriter Jen Foster will be at Headliners Friday, April 15. She is donating 25% of net proceeds that night to the Kentucky Humane Society in honor of the late Jennifer Day of Louisville.
