Meet Cruz – a.k.a. “Sleepy Eyes.” Cruz is a six-year-old brown and white tabby, a true green-eyed soul cat deserving of a permanent home. He was found as a stray before transferring to the Kentucky Humane Society from another shelter. Somehow through it all, Cruz has retained his gentle spirit. Cruz’s future was uncertain after being diagnosed FIV+, but he can live a healthy life. He just shouldn't live with other cats unless they are also FIV+. Cruz would love an easy going human who understands this and his subtle gestures, like purring for hugs, or staying in close proximity to affirm his affection and love. The only thing Cruz seems to love more than attention is treats. He gets so excited when he sees the treat bag that he’ll stick his entire head in it! Cruz is neutered, micro-chipped and up-to-date on all vaccinations. Will you give this big-headed sweetheart a second chance at life? Come visit Cruz today at the Kentucky Humane Society's Main Campus, 241 Steedly Drive in Louisville. Learn about all our adoptable pets at www.kyhumane.org or call 502-366-3355.
KHS had a very successful adoption promotion this past weekend where 179 animals found loving homes! KHS also has their annual Picture Your Pets with Santa event coming up this weekend on December 5th and 6th as well as next weekend on December 12th and 13th. In addition, they are running an adoption promotion on cats six months and over where their adoption fee will be greatly discounted.
