Hercules: The Paws Report, Nov. 4

Today at 3:30 on The Paws Report:

Introducing the myth, the legend, the almighty Hercules! Thirteen-year-old Hercules is a handsome, Chow Chow mix with a golden coat and a golden personality. This gentle boy found himself at the Kentucky Humane Society when his owner could no longer take care of him. Now he’s looking for that special someone who will love him for the rest of his days! Hercules is a goofy boy who loves exploring the great outdoors, playing with tennis balls and the more than occasional butt scratch. He may be an older gentleman but he’s just that, a gentleman! He walks well on a leash and will even stop if you need a moment to catch up with him. Hercules is a total lover who just wants someone to cuddle up and take a nap with, could that be you? Hercules is neutered, micro-chipped and up-to-date on all vaccinations. If you’re looking for a well-mannered companion to relax away with, come meet him today at the Kentucky Humane Society’s Main Campus, 241 Steedly Drive in Louisville. Learn about all our adoptable pets at www.kyhumane.org or call 502-366-3355.

November is Adopt a Senior Pet Month! Senior pets tend to take much longer to get adopted at the shelter than younger pets. We want to remind people that senior pets have many wonderful qualities and require less work than many younger animals. If we have time I also want to mention that if anyone’s struggling with a senior pet, we have a free Pet Help Line available!
