Today at 3:30 pm we welcome Bear, a one-year-old border collie mix. This smart boy just completed four weeks of training at the Kentucky Humane Society’s P.R.O.U.D. (Prisoner Rehabilitation of Untrained Dogs) program, where he lived with a handler who taught him things like sit, down, wait, even heel. Bears love to play tug, fetch and chase, but his favorite part of any day is time spent around people. Bear gets along with all sorts of people, but he would do best as an only dog in his new home.
