Way too often, people say "(so and so) killed it" in reference to late-night TV performances. And that usually just translates to "(so and so) didn't sound as bad as Karmin on SNL that one time." But that's not the case here. To say that Jim James killed it on Fallon last night would be a massive understatement. In fact, here's what Questlove of The Roots had to say about it:
