Ike Reilly is a great American songwriter from Libertyville, IL. His music can be rough and melodic at the same time and his lyrics raw, smart and true. His new album Hard Luck Stories is full of humor, loss, struggle and triumph with each song wrapped in the beguiling artifice of rock and roll, only to reveal themselves and their dark truths after careful listening. Oh yeah, and they're fun too! Ike performed a couple of songs for us before taking the stage at our final Waterfront show of the season.
