Recently announced Coachella headliners, Gorillaz are back after a five year absence with a new disc called Plastic Beach. The cartoon, semi-fictional band (depending on how you look at it) have, as usual, invited a group of folks over to contribute to the Damon Albarn brainchild. Lou Reed, Snoop, De La Soul, & Mick Jones are all a part of the fun this time around, but it’s Bobby Womak and Mos Def who shine on the first single.
