Culture Maven c d kaplan has mildly good things to say about the new Philip Seymour Hoffman film "Pirate Radio," but honestly, who can tell? That loud voice, that weird passive-aggressive thing he's always doing with James, the condescending tone ... does anybody actually listen to this? Honestly, if you listened to our sister station Classical 90.5 for 6-7 minutes instead, you would probably have a much better day.
