2009 has gotten even sadder for the Louisville music community with the passing of The Amazing Mr. Fish of the Juggernaut Jug Band. Mr. Gil Fish played the Washtub Bass, Nose Flute, and The Walking Bass for a band that has become a Louisville institution after forming in the 1960's. We are deeply saddened by this news but grateful we had the privilage of having Mr. Fish and his band in our studios many times, delighting us with their unique and very fun music. Our heartfelt sympathies go out to Gil's family, his bandmates, friends and many fans. On Tuesday, November 17, from 4-8pm at Park Place at Louisville Slugger Field, all friends and fans are welcome to come celebrate his life.
