Vampire Weekend have spent the last few weeks steeped in web mystery – first sending a Polaroid style photo around the web of a girl, originally with no link and then finally to their site announcing a new album. Then a few days ago a countdown started. Most knew it would lead to a peak at the disc in some way, and sure enough, by the end of Monday we had a new track from one of the most talked about indie bands this decade. The new album Contra comes out Jan 12, and here is the first single, Vampire Weekend with Horchata on The Daily feed.
