Talk about sending an entire people into a tizzy. If Thom York is the indie kids Emperor Palpaltine, then Julian Casablancas from The Strokes just might be their Darth Vader. Silent for the past few years, the band that helped start this decades indie revolution has kept the kids feening for a new album. Sure there have been teasers and solo records, but nothing from the lead voice... until now. While we're told that there IS a new Strokes record coming, Julian is dropping his first solo record in the meantime and with it, our first peak with this lead single.
