When indie rock takes on serious subjects, you can usually count on them not holding back. Unlike mainstream pop music who will have to play the bland, middle of the road line, bands that are more under-the-radar are allowed more room to run. Welsh sextet, Los Campasinos, have taken the subject of an eating disorder and their latest subject, and built it into an anthem that grows ands builds with their trademark vocals and ultimately finds them going at a slower pace than past tunes. If this is the kind of songcraft we can expect from their upcoming, third album, expect to be hearing their name quite a bit more.
