Sub Pop is back at it again, putting out samplers of their crew and roster, and basically showing every other label precisely how to do it right. With their new summer fun CD called the 2009 Sub Pop Cybersex Digital Sampler, they've also given us a peak at a couple tracks that will be pulling up in your shuffle by the fall. Of those, Fruit Bats has a new song called My Unusual Friend which showcases them pulling the optimistic and quirky card that will see its release on The Ruminant Band LP due out on Aug. 4th.
