My Jerusalem is a band named after a country at the center of a lot of passionate debate. Luckily, the bans music echo's that passion, though fortunately with less blood loss. 32 Feet Per Second comments that "this is the most moving piece of indie rock I've heard in a while. It reminds me a of a National record slow-dancing with Beulah's catalogue." The Austin slash N'awlins band features members of Twilight SIngers, great Northern, Bishop Allen, & The Polyphonic Spree.
