The folks at Stereogum had a nice day of exclusive releases yesterday. None bigger, arguably, than Mr. Bright Eyes himself, Conor Oberst who okayed the the free download from his new disc Outer South, the 2nd outing with his latest creation, The Mystic Valley Band. This track has made a few live appearances, including a run-thru on Conan late last year, and gives us more insight into what Oberst is shooting for these days, which might be, dare we say it, part of the mainstream.
