Michael Franti blends hip hop with a variety of styles including funk, reggae and rock. He's also an outspoken supporter of peace and social justice issues. Michael and his band Spearhead played the Brown Theater on October 18th. He stopped by the WFPK studios that afternoon for a solo set and some conversation with WFPK Program Director Stacy Owen.
