This week marks the 200th anniversary of the birth of arguably one of the most important opera composers: Giuseppe Verdi. His arias are sung like national folk songs in Italy and his name is synonymous with Italian unity and pride. Tenor Jonas Kaufmann's The Verdi Album is our Featured Album, with arias from Rigoletto, Aida, Don Carlo and more.
