Louisville Orchestra on Classical 90.5

Louisville Orchestra returns to Classical 90.5 on Saturday, September 21, for its new broadcast season. Music Director Jorge Mester welcomes pianist Emanuel Ax as the soloist for performances of concertos by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Ludwig van Beethoven.

Emanual Ax has appeared with the Louisville Orchestra before and this time Ax opens the 2013-14 season with the orchestra's annual "Fanfara" season-opener celebration.

Classical 90.5's broadcast of Fanfara is Saturday, September 21, at 6 pm. Watch this interview with Emanuel Ax as he discusses Beethoven.
