The Norwegian Chamber Orchestra established itself as a critically-acclaimed ensemble with its release of Grieg's Holberg Suite in 1979 (two years after the orchestra was formed), since then it has enjoyed international success and has recorded over two-dozen albums with such illustrious artists as Leif Ove Andsnes, Tine Thing Helseth, Iona Brown and Truls Mork. Their latest release, Nordic Spring, brings Grieg's Holberg Suite back to life, along with the luscious music of Atterberg, Svendsen, Nielsen, Braein and Sibelius.
