9.11.01 Commemorations

Classical 90.5 presents programs to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. Friday at 12 noon, violinist William Harvey reflects on his experience performing for the "Fighting 69th" at Ground Zero during rescue operations. The New York Philharmonic performs a 9/11 concert including On the Transmigration of Souls by John Adams and Ein Deutches Requiem by Johannes Brahms Saturday at 9 pm. Sunday at 6 pm, The New York Philharmonic presents Gustav Mahler's Symphony No. 2, Resurrection.
