Natalie Dessay (above) makes a triumphant return to the Metropolitan Opera in Donizetti's Lucia di Lammermoor (Saturday 1 pm). The cast's other principals include baritone Mariusz Kwiecien as Lucia's desperate brother Enrico, tenor Marcello Giordani as her beloved Edgardo, bass-baritone John Relyea as her concerned tutor and minister, Raimondo.
